Adding a RUM Data Collector

The NEW RUM DATA COLLECTOR pop up window appears when you click the Add New Collector button in the RUM DATA COLLECTOR CONFIGURATION page.

To add a new RUM Data Collector, do the following:

• Specify a unique name for the new RUM Data Collector in the Nick Name text box.

• In the Public URL text box, specify the RUM Data Collector URL. Note that you will have to specify the ‘public URL’ of the RUM data collector here.

Note:

An HTTP collector cannot manage an SSL-enabled web site/web application.

• If the eG agent is hosted in the same network as that of the RUM Data Collector, then the eG agent can be accessed internally by the RUM Data Collector using a private URL. Specify such an URL in the Private URL text box. By default, this URL is optional.

• Clicking the Add button will add the new RUM Data Collector.
