List of Tests

The Integration Console is a GUI-based component of the eG manager that allows users to,

  • Add new components for monitoring

  • Include new layers for diagnosing specific components

  • Enhance the eG Enterprise system's measurement capability to expose additional information relating to the managed components.

The eG Integration Console is enabled as an optional component of the eG manager and is offered by the Configure menu.

Note:

This capability will be available for your target environment, only if the manager's license has the Integration Console option enabled.

To access this page, click on the icon available in the Admin tab. Then, select the Test option in the Integration Console tile. The page displays a set of user-defined tests that have been previously added to the eG Enterprise system (if any).

  • The Add New Test button enables the administrator to add a new test to the eG Enterprise system.

  • The Modify icon beside every test allows the administrator to modify an existing test.

  • The administrator can use the Delete icon beside every test to remove the corresponding test from the eG system.

  • The next step in incorporating the new test into the eG Enterprise system is to inform the eG Enterprise system about the number and types of measurements that will be made by the test. The Configure button enables the administrator to achieve this.

  • If a large number of user-defined tests are listed in this page, then locating a particular test for configuration/modification would become quiet a challenge. This page therefore allows you to quickly search for a test, by first specifying the whole/part of the test name in the Search text box, and then clicking the right-arrow button next to the text box. All test names that embed the specified string will then appear.

The Back button enables the administrator to go back to the previous screen.
