Measures reported by LinuxPrintJobStTest

This test continuously monitors all the printers i.e., physical or network printers configured in the target system and for each printer, reports the number of printing jobs that are currently processed and the number of jobs that are waiting in the print queue. Using this test, administrators can identify the printer that has maximum number of jobs in waiting state in the print queue. This will help administrators troubleshoot issues with the printers resolve any impending issues at the earliest.

Outputs of the test: One set of results for each printer configured in the target host system being monitored.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

The detailed diagnosis helps to find out the Job ID, Job rank, Owner, Job file name, File size(bytes), and Local start time.

Long_running_jobs Indicates the number of printing jobs that are waiting in the print queue on this printer. Number

The detailed diagnosis of this test provides the Job ID, Job rank, Owner, Job file name, File size(KB), and Time in Printer queue(min).

If a job is waiting for more than 15 minutes in the print queue then, that job is considered as long running job.
