Measures reported by ScpVmVolSnapStTest

Each virtual machine has a volume – the storage behind the file system and all software installed on it. Using console client commands, we can create a snapshot of the volume of a virtual machine. This snapshot contains everything that was installed on the file system, but does not keep any running processes and runtime configurations. A new virtual machine can be created from this volume snapshot. The ScpVmVolSnapStTest monitors these volume snapshots and reports if any volume snapshot is deleted.

Outputs of the test :One set of results for each Virtual Machine in the target SAP BTP Neo Environment.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
state Indicates the status of virtual machine.   The values reported by this measure and its numeric equivalents are mentioned in the table below:

Measure Value Numeric Value
Available 0

Note:

By default, this measure reports the Measure Values listed in the table above to indicate current state of the volume snapshot in virtual machine.

The detailed diagnosis of this measure provides the virtual machine volume snapshot status details like the volume id, volume size(GB) and created date.
