Measures reported by OraZFSCluStTest

The Oracle ZFS Storage System supports cooperative clustering of appliances. The clustering feature relies on shared access to storage resources.

This test monitors and reports the status of the nodes in the cluster by indicating whether the nodes are currently active/ in a stand- by mode/ unconfigured. This helps the administrator to find out how many nodes in this cluster are not in active state.

Outputs of the test: One set of results for the Oracle ZFS Storage System being monitored.

The measures made by this test are as follows:

Measurement Description Measurement Unit Interpretation
cluserState Indicates the status of the cluster node.

The values reported by this measure and its numeric equivalent are mentioned in the table below:

Measure Value Numeric Value
Unconfigured 1
Active controller 2
Standby 3
Running in normal 10

Note:

By default, this measure reports the Measure Values listed in the table above to indicate the status of the cluster node in the Oracle ZFS storage system.
