Measures reported by GtmDCStatTest
BIG-IP GTM consolidates the paths and metric data collected from the servers, virtual servers, and links in the data center. BIG-IP GTM uses that data to conduct load balancing and route client requests to the best-performing resource, based on a variety of factors. If a data center is busy/unavailable, the data/packets has to be re-routed to another data center with a lesser load. It is necessary to understand which data center sends/receives the maximum data/packets. The GtmDCStatTest helps in this regard!
This test auto-discovers the data centers in the target BIG-IP GTM, and for each data center monitors the resources of the data center. This test also reports the data/packets sent through/received by each data center which helps the administrators identify the data center that is busy in transmitting/receiving data/packets. This test also helps the administrators in identifying the data center through which maximum connections were established in the target BIG-IP GTM.
Outputs of the test: One set of results for each data center in BIG-IP GTM that is being monitored.
